The Story of Whirl Pong

My name is Dillon Fink, and I am the proud owner of Whirl Pong. As a Mechanical Engineering major with a minor in Entrepreneurship at Penn State's Main Campus, my college experience has been nothing short of incredible. From the electric atmosphere of home football games and tailgating with friends to the exhilarating chants of "WE ARE" in the best student section in college sports, every moment has been unforgettable.

My passion for entrepreneurship has always driven me, and I've been actively involved in leading my entrepreneurship clubs. The idea for Whirl Pong struck me during a competition in my first fall semester at Penn State. I noticed a fellow student, completely disinterested and absorbed in his phone while playing traditional cup pong. As someone who thrives on competition, I saw this as an opportunity to reinvent the game, enhancing it without losing the essence we all love. I envisioned a version that not only addressed the inconveniences of the traditional game but also made it more competitive and exciting.

Determined to bring my idea to life, I worked tirelessly to secure funding from the university through various channels. As an out-of-state student, I even scraped together what was left in my bank account. I also participated in two pitch competitions during my freshman year, successfully securing the necessary funds for the project. After months of relentless effort, I was able to transform Whirl Pong from a concept into a reality.

Now, for the first time, Whirl Pong is available, ready to revolutionize the tailgate experience. As a college student, I have a unique network and ample opportunities to introduce this game to a community of enthusiastic sports fans and party-goers.

Please support me as a young entrepreneur and small business owner. Your support will help bring Whirl Pong to more people, making every tailgate and party more exciting and competitive. Thank you for being part of this journey!
